How to Reach Jolly Buoy island
  • To reach Jolly Buoy island, visitors have to come to Wandoor Beach, Which is about 30 Kms from Port Blair by road.It takes about 45 minutes.
  • You need entry permits to visit Red Skin / Jolly Buoy Islands of Mahatma Gandhi National Park will which will be issued one day in advance on first come first serve basis on production of application on the counter.
  • Counter is in Mahatma Gandhi Marine Interpretation center at Wandoor.
  • The first boat to Jolly Buoy Island / Red skin Island leaves around 9 am.So it will be better ,if you can reach conter by 8 am to get the permit.
  • All the boats Jolly Buoy Island / Red skin Island leaves at the same time and return Back Together.
