Sippighat Farm is accessible by road from port blair city and is situated around 15 kms from Port Blair on the road to Wandoor. It is administrated by Central Government Agricultural Research Institute which is responsible for pursuing cientific studies and methods to improve spice produce and other plants cultivation. It is spread over 80 acres of cultivated land . In Sippighat Farm, spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and pepper are grown in the farm which are exported to diffrent parts of the globe.It is a stop-over for many migratory birds which adds to its attraction which makes it a must visit place for ornithologists or bird lovers. The Eurasian Curlew, Pacific Golden-Plover ,Osprey or Fish Eating Eagle, whitebellied sea eagle ,andaman teal,large falcons ,narcondum hornbill attrcated to this farm for its the natural fruits.
